Anna Olga Mitsou is an Attorney at Law before the Supreme Court and a holder of a Phd degree by the University of Athens, Law School. Her PhD thesis, “Cross border stock exchange transactions on European Capital Markets”, was published by “Nomiki Vivliothiki” (eds) (year 2007). She has also obtained an LLM degree by Queen Mary and Westfield Colllege, with specialization in Banking and Finance (year 2000).

After a long and constructive cooperation with some of the most prestigious law firms in Greece in the field of commercial law, she decided to set up her own Law Office, in the year 2010 to meet the challenges of the new era in the field of legal services in Greece.

She has served as Special Advisor to the Secretary General of Shipping of the Ministry of Development, Competition and Maritime, for the period 2011-2012.

She is the author of two books, numerous articles and studies on legal periodicals (see under “Publications”) and writes frequently as a specialized academic for the legal journal “Business and Company Law Review”. Her main research and policy interests are in Banking and Financial law. She participates frequently in seminars and congresses and follows all issues of legal actuality.

She was tutoring the courses “European Banking Law” and “Insolvency and Reorganisation Law” at the postgraduate degree of Pantion University for the period 2008-2010 and “Introduction to Law” at UKFC College for the period 2012-2013. Currently, she teaches law as Adjunct Lecturer at the Hellenic Open University.

She speaks Greek, English and French.
She is a member of the Association of Commercial Lawyers.
